Social Events

Losing someone we love can be an incredibly lonely experience, even if we have friends and family around us. Many people find themselves unable to go out socially and this is an important part of finding our feet in the world again, when we feel ready. At The White Lily Centre we understand how difficult it can be to face the prospect of taking those first tentative steps out into the world. Those who attend our regular social events tell us that just knowing that everyone there is going through their own grief journey can allow them to feel safe enough to venture out. You will find the organisers and attendees compassionate, understanding and welcoming, whether you come alone or bring a friend for moral support. Many firm friendships have been formed at our social events over the years.
